Not sure what to say?

Jill,
Coach and I are thinking about you every day. Your dad was a great friend. I am sorry we could not make services. It is just a little to soon for us.

Jill,Ashley & Leo

My condolences to you all. I know what you are going through I've been there. It will be hard but you will get through it just like I do. You will have many dreams of all the great times you had as I do to this day. Bud or should I say my hubert will be missed very much. I'm sorry I couldn't make the services but I felt it would be better that I stay away. To many wonderful memories of yesteryears just keep coming back.
Jill, your father will always be by your side...

Jill,Jody & Family - I hadn't seen your dad for way too many years, but I'm thankful that I had the chance to speak to him recently. I have many fond memories of "Bud". I'll never forget that laugh of his. It makes me smile just to remember it. He was loved by many and will be forgotten by none. I'm so sorry I can't be there with you right now.

My Missy Jill,

I have alot of fun memories of "BUD", going all the way back to his Bass Tournament Picnics. He was so loved by so many, especially
you and your family.

He was a good man who could not talk enough positive stuff about his family ecspecially his little girl Jill. When I bartended back in the day lots of places you often would hear Bud talk about his wonderful family. May god hold him in the palm of his hand for his 'ol drinkin buddies met him at the gate. Jill and kids,
You know what a shock this was to all of us Jill, and you know my personal thoughts on all the memories this brought swarming back to me. When we were in the hospital Jill, and you were looking at your daddy, you look so much like him, and now it is up to you to carry on the wonderful Shaffner legacy, the outrageous laughter, the caring of other people that both your dad and your Uncle Bobbie had, and the strength they both had. You are the Shaffner that is left (of course...
