Glenn G. Slack, 57, of Bangor, PA passed away Friday, May 5th, at his residence.
Glenn was born on January 7, 1960, in East Stroudsburg, PA. A son of Nancy A. (Muffley) Slack, of Bangor, PA and the late Granville G. Slack.
Glenn was a Laborer at Hercules Cement Stockertown, PA, He was previously employed at Whitetail Golf Course in Bath, PA, the former Bear Automotive in Bangor, and at ITT ElectronTubes in Easton. He was a 1977 graduate of Bangor High School. Glenn enjoyed spending his time riding his motorcycles, being a fan of formula 1 racing, and playing his guitar.

He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bangor. Glenn was also a former member of the Bangor Elks Lodge 1106.
In addition to his mother Nancy, Glenn is survived by two sisters, Cynthia Engler, wife of Francis Engler Jr., of Bangor, PA, and Debbie DiMenichi, wife of Tony of FL, a brother, Wade Slack, husband of Patti, of Pen Argyl, PA, two nephews, Ryan Engler and Garrett Slack, three nieces, Jaime Nemkovich, Kristen Cahill, and Jillian Slack, and 2 great nieces, Alea Engler, and Seven Nemkovich
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, May 13th at Trinity Lutheran Church, 404 Broadway, Bangor, PA, with Rev. Larry D. Laine officiating. Friends and family are invited to call 10 -11 AM on Saturday, May 13th at the church. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., "Village of Johnsonville", Bangor, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blue Mountain Community Library, 216 S. Robinson Ave., Pen Argyl, PA 18072

Goodbye, Glenn. I am sure your journey ahead of you will be the one you have been preparing for. You were special to have known. Your time here may have been cut short but your spirit will live on with many who had the chance to know you. Rest now my friend, you earned it. I rang the bell of life and Lisa has hung out the prayer streamers to light your path. Peace to your family in this time of sorrow.
