Not sure what to say?

We are all missing you in our friend´s circle! Our thoughts of you are always there in our care of Barbara and your memory!

Glenn--You always made us laugh and you were always with a smile. In these past two years much has happened and much has changed, but even as time goes on our thoughts of you as a good and caring man of integrity , wonderful husband to our dear friend Barbara, and smart and fun friend to us all--will be with us for always.

Upon learning of Glenn’s passing, the first thing that came to mind is what Glenn told me when he was Secretary-Treasurer of Teamsters Local 223, and he hired me in 1980. He told me that he was really taking a chance on me as I would be the youngest person in the Joint Council. Today I owe my 41-year Teamster career to Glenn Vance. Who knew that the kid Glenn hired in 1980 would someday hold his position! I knew Glenn as a dynamic, strong, and hard-working man who invested most of his time...

Yes, It was on the mourn
That I saw a ship a sailing
The sea was calm
The winds were fair
Glenn was young
And he was at the rail
With shipmates once again.---rs

All best to you in forever land, Glenn! Thank you for being a great hubby and life partner to Barb through the years and providing a wonderful life.
Your career, care, and craft at home is testimony to the excellence in how you lived your life and we hold your memory in the highest regard.
Your always present gleaming smile is locked forever in our memory and we are proud and honored to have known you and be your friend.

After Glenn was elected Secretary/Treasurer, I became the Union’s lawyer, and he and I became very close until I retired from the law in 1978, meeting or talking almost every day. He was a fine man and a terrific labor leader. I’ve always missed him.
