I did not know Smokey as well as most people but he was a good neighbor and would always help out a fellow Greenpointer. My condolences go out to the Warren family. Smokey will be missed by all that knew him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, we will always think of you and smile! We will miss you.

Smokey was a great friend and we will really miss him - he certainly kept us entertained all of these years! We will always remember him and his family at our July 4th picnics, partying with him at Cheers, being his partner in the Grandview golf tournaments, his win at Grandview in '96, and all of the other great times we shared with him. I would like to thank everyone that was at my Dads veiwing and funeral. Its was greatly appreciated by the whole family. I just want to let everyone know what my dad meant to me. He was the best dad ever, I would never trade him in for anything. We had our ups and dowms especially when it came to racing he would never give me a chance to race his race car. My wholehearted sympathy to my by best friend Lisa. Next time your dad let’s you drive, it will be in a race car! I remember you always wanting to race as a little girl. Your dad with his twinkling eye’s, and unforgettable grin would only respond “yeah”. You are a “Warren” it’s definitely in your blood. God Bless you, your family and “Smokey” Warren.
