Not sure what to say?

Like Marshall Absolam, Glenn and I were Seabees together on our Okinawa deployments. Now, it's been almost 40 years since I last spent time with Glen. He was an usher at my wedding in Santa Barbara and, following the bachelor party the night before, he almost fainted during the ceremony. He rallied, grinned his wonderful sly grin and, with beads of sweat on his brow, carried on to complete the service.

He laughed about it later. That was Glenn. Self-observant, self-aware,...

Kay and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Glenn's passing. I will miss his sense of humor and friendly manner that always made me feel welcome. I met Glenn over 20 years ago at Carmen and Weaver. He and Carmen were either a comedy team who happened to be architects or architects who happened to be a comedy team. I always enjoyed working with Glenn on a project. I will miss him very much.

Dear Kay, Carole and JoAnne,
We will also miss Glenn, our next door neighbor and friend for many years. We frequently shared stories with him about our "kids", trips, business, Navy OCS, gardening, and solving the world's problems. It had to be very comforting to see so many relatives and friends come to your memorial gathering to celebrate his life. We hope that the pain of his loss will soon be softened by the many happy memories of times past.

Dear Kay and Family;

We are in a state of shock over over the sudden loss of Glenn. Things just won't be the same in the neighborhood. Our love and sympathy go out to you and your family.

Kay, Carole, Joanne, and family.
Carol and I send our love and prayers to you and family. The sudden loss of Glenn will be felt by many. I first met Glenn in 1962 at Adak, Alaska with the U.S. Navy Seabees. That's about as far away from our home state of Florida as you can get and still be is the USA. We both went to college in Gatorland but didn't meet till the Navy. We spent many good times in Okinawa and Thailand with the Bees. We reunited here in Silicon Valley in the 70's and...

We are deeply saddened to have learned of Glenn's passing. He always was an extremely likeable and easy going gentleman. His kind spirit shined upon us whenever we came in contact with him. He was a great neighbor and we will miss seeing him "out front", always taking such good care of his yard. Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with the Weaver family.

Dear Weavers: I'm so very, very sorry. Glenn was a real gem. His easy, friendly manner and helpful ways made interactions comfortable and enjoyable. I know I am not alone in saying that I miss him.
Take care,
Edie Seidenstein

Glenn was a good friend he made me feel welcome. He was a good listener and liked to share his time and interests. He will be missed. Barbara Eisner

So sorry to hear Glenn's passing away. We live across the street from each other and we enjoyed a friend and neighbor who is always warm and kind. My family and I will miss him a lot.
