Glenn D. White

Glenn, like others of our interesting tribe, inspired fond stories, usually with an edge. We touched orbits around the organ, and around instruments; I've worked on a couple of his earlier important harpsichords, the lovely one he made with such affection for his colleague Prof. Dahl, and his last, a wedding present for Carolyn. Glenn was among those who fashioned the rewarding world in which I've been able to move, and I thank him.

Glenn had a natural ability to inspire the curiosity and imaginations of young people. I can't begin to enumerate all the areas of knowledge that he introduced me to. Ave atque vale.
