Not sure what to say?

A fine friend and man - kind, respectful, intelligent, and combined with a great sense of humor and laugh. My prayers are with his beloved boys that they focus on his many talents and gifts and the unquestioned love he had for both.
You're remembered and missed my friend,

Glenn and I worked together in NYC between 1984-1986. We attended each others weddings, mocked each others baseball teams and listened intently about the development of our children. A truly unique guy, a pleasure to be around an honor to be considered his friend. I'll miss you Whitmore

Glenn’s college friends, of whom I am one, have been reconnecting in the last few weeks and remembering how much he means to us. He loved knowledge, experience, words, and true feelings. He was irreverent, uncompromising, wickedly funny, and of course good looking. We think especially of his sons, now about the age when we first met Glenn, and hope that you will carry on his spirit of engagement with possibility.

Glenn was one of the true intellectuals in a business not known for that type of person, and it was my privilege to work with him and to learn from him. I am proud that he was also my friend. My sincere condolences to his family.

Jackson and Edward kindly accept our condolences. Your dad was a good friend and will be missed by all who knew him.

I knew Glenn as a neighbor, fellow dog lover and a client. He always struck me as a noble person, as E.M. Forster said, part of an aristocracy "not of power based upon rank and influence...but of the sensitive, the considerate and the brave." We will mourn the loss of this man of good will and good temper. Our prayers are with the family.

Glenn will be missed by all that new him. There are even more that never meet him but had the benefits of his goodwill and generous donations in both time and money. He has touched many lives in such a positive way, this loss is shared by us all.

I am at a loss for words to express my sympathies to Jack and Henry, along with the rest of Glenn's loving family. Having worked with him during the later 70's in our early career days at Real Estate Research and thereafter engaging his enviable talents at CBRE and HFF, Glenn was the poster child for the consummate real estate professional. But his enviable business capabilities represented a small element of Glenn's character - a fine person, a concerned citizen, and one ready, willing, and...

To the family of Glen Whitmore, our thoughts and prayers are with you
