I have many good memories of Glenna when I was in the Roxbury post office and Glenna had the nursing home next door. She was a fine lady who cared for people and about people, like when she delivered my flue shot each year and told me to put my arm out so she could stick me, because she thought I needed it (she didn't mince words). I lost touch with her over the years, but never forgot those things.

Glenna T. Rice was my father's sister and my aunt who was like a second mother to me. I spent my high school summers and school vacations at her nursing home where I learned to put others first and to be humble. She was an inspiration to me and loved me unconditionally. When me future husband and I became engaged and then married, she championed our relationship.
