GLENNA ROECKER Our beloved mother, Glenna Roecker, 90, passed away August 9, 2017. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 13, at McGilley State Line Chapel with recitation of the Rosary at 4 p.m. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 14, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Kansas City Hospice House. Glenna grew up on the family farm and moved to the Kansas City area after high school. It was there that she met her husband, Leslie and they were married 54 years until his death in 2001. She worked as a hairdresser and cosmetician for nearly 40 years, retiring in 2001. Glenna was a devout Catholic and was an active volunteer in the church. She enjoyed working around her home and rock garden and was honored with the Neighborhood Home of the Month award. Her brothers, Dean and Bill, preceded Glenna in death. Survivors include her children, Steven (Allene), Sherri Milam (Rick) and Gary (Cristy); sister Delores Crump; 2 grandsons, Shaun and Kyle; 2 step grandchildren and 1 step great grandchild.
