Read MoreThis obit is right on. Sandy was a great lifelong friend and took me under her wing, taught me English when I first arrived in the US, and was always interested in how my life was going. For a young immigree like me, she was a role model and a life-long beacon on living fearlessly. I will always miss her and am sorry I was not able to say goodby.
