Not sure what to say?

Gloria and I were both raised on farms a mile apart in the Delta View school district. We went through Delta View grammar school and Hanford High School at the same time, although Gloria was one grade ahead of me. After high school we reconnected again at a combined 1944 & 1945 class reunion. By then she was widowed and I was divorced. From that time on we became very close friends and communicated often. Over the years after the reunion we visited whenever I came down from the Bay Area to...

Gloria was my cousin. I remember as a little girl driving up to my grandmas and seeing her. My mother Pat Smith loved talking about Gloria and her adventures ! ( I think Gloria was her favorite!) Gloria and my mom kept in close contact. Gloria was known as the family historian and sent interesting articles all the time. Such a thoughtful, generous and kind soul! Rest In Peace Gloria Mae

She was a great person, hard at times, but loved always!

I am one of Gloria’s many cousins. As a child, I was always so happy when our families got together and I got to see Gloria. That feeling never changed throughout my life. Gloria was kind, curious, interesting and interested. I will miss Gloria very much

I am one of Gloria’s many cousins. I remember as a child, how happy I was when our families would get together and I got to see Gloria. That feeling continued throughout my life. Gloria was kind, curious, and always had interesting stories to tell about our family history and about her travels. Gloria was gracious & lovely and I will miss her very much.

We enjoyed getting to know Gloria when she would come in to the Hanford Library - she loved her Danielle Steel! It sounds like she lived a full and wonderful life; I'm sure she will be greatly missed.
