Gloria V. Bennett

Gloria V. Bennett, a resident of New Braunfels, passed away on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at Sundance Inn at the age of 62. Gloria was born on November 29, 1949 in New Braunfels to Ysidro Villanueva and Pomposa Guerrero Villanueva. For most of her working career, Gloria was employed in the dry cleaning industry. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Nicholas, Jose and Gustabo Villanueva; sisters, Martina Borgos and Rosita V. Rosales and by a great-granddaughter, Leila. Survivors include her sons, John Daniel Rosales, Felix Rosales, Jr. and Elton John Rosales; daughter, Johnnie A. Bennett; brothers, Luis and Augustine Villanueva; sisters, Esther Samaniego, Paula V. Corona and Clemencia Villanueva; grandchildren, Alexandria, Isaiah, Kourtney, Diego, Emery, John Daniel, Jr., Bella, Zachariah and De'zerae; great-granddaughters, Leah, Makayla, Keanna, Alyiah, and great-grandson, Javier Medina. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, followed by the Funeral Mass, which begins at 2:00 PM. Please note: there will not be a procession from the funeral home to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. All wishing to attend the Funeral Mass are asked to meet at the church. Burial will follow at Hill Country Memorial Gardens.
