She was born Oct. 12, 1930, in Brooklyn, N.Y., the daughter of Carl and Fanny (Somach) Schweid.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. today, Tuesday Sept. 30, at Beth-El Cemetery, 50 Lestertown Road, Groton. Byles Memorial Home, 99 Huntington Street, New London is in charge of arrangements. A full obituary will appear in a future edition of The Day.
