I was so blessed to have lived next door to Jim and Gloria when I was a young woman and mother. She and Jim were both so smart sophisticated and yet down home type of people. We were the kind of neighbors that did not have coffee daily together but shared holiday time and were always available to each other for practical needs. What a gem of a person Gloria was. One of my favorite people to have a glass of iced tea with on a quiet summer afternoon. She was a wealth of information, kindness and the epitome of being a good neighbor. Add in her extraordinary knowledge of birds, and it was like living next-door to one of the nicest, informative and interesting woman I´ve ever met.
