Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home - Cincinnati Obituary

Gloria Chrisman (nee Harris) passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 8, 2021, at the age of 76. She was born on June 22, 1944, to the late Benjamin and Helen Harris.

Gloria was the beloved wife of John Chrisman for nearly 59 years; loving mother of Greg (Martha), Christopher (Erin), and the late Michael (William Ralston, living) Chrisman; and treasured grandmother of Jennifer, Kyle, Joanie, and Kassie Chrisman. In addition to her parents and son, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Ben, Shirley, Janet, and Eddie.

Gloria will be remembered fondly for her kind-hearted and generous nature. She enjoyed volunteering her time at local schools such as St. Bernard and St. Ignatius, acting as “Room Mom”, a personal tutor, or even working in the cafeteria. She was a proud wife, mother, and grandmother who loved devoting time to her family. In short, Gloria was the best and there will never be another like her. She will be missed fiercely.

A Memorial Gathering will be held Sat. June 19 from 10am until time of Memorial Service at 12pm, both at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home, 5527 Cheviot Rd. (45247). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions suggested to the TriHealth Cancer Institute. Online condolences may be expressed at www.mrfh.com.

Not sure what to say?

To the dearest friend ever. Gloria and I have been friends since the 9th grade and shared so many good times. She was the friend you could go a year or so, and not talk with because your lives were busy, but pick up the phone and pick up where your lives left off. I will always remember the beautiful smiling face of the girl who went before me. When I say she was the best person, I really mean it. God gained an angel when Gloria arrived! I will miss you always my friend! Love, Sandie

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.

Aunt Gloria, I will miss you and our chats. Your loving heart and caring presence made my world a better place. We learn to trust and love through people like you.

Gloria will be missed, she was so kind and loving. She devoted her life to husband and family. Since meeting Gloria in 2002 she has been the glue/matriarch of the Chrisman family planning get togethers.

I’m sure she wanted to stay longer to be with us all and was courageous in her fight with cancer. She will be missed.

She will keep us all in line from “Above” as she joins her son Michael and other deceased family members and friends.

So no fussing over...
