I admired Gloria as a teacher and a person. Her graduate classes were enjoyable and she made an lasting impact on education in the state of Mississippi. I’m sorry for your loss.

When I met Gloria as a teacher, I Found a wonderful heartwarming lady. She found out that I was from Greenwood, Ms. and my half sister was Jane Power! Jane had actually dated her brother for awhile. His names was Elmo Collum.
I learned so much from Gloria and I am sure so many other students did too! She will truly be missed.
