She especially loved her grandchildren and truly cared for her many loyal customers. I loved talking with her and hearing that wonderful laugh when I would see her at Phillips Shoes. I was shocked when I learned of Gloria's passing. She was such a wonderful person - so outspoken, full of joy, and a pleasure to be around. Some days (even if I were not shopping) when I felt down, I would visit Gloria at Phillip's Shoes in S. Windermere, and always leave feeling so much better after talking and laughing with her. I am so very sorry for your loss.

I am sorry I did not know how sick she was.This obituary in the paper was all I would have said. Oma was so genuine, which I had the most respect for. She worshiped her family and gave with heart and soul. She make us laugh and cry all at the same time. Gloria, I will look you up when I get there.
