Our beloved Gloria Wanda Gloria, age 61 of Cotulla, TX passed away on March 15, 2025.


Gloria was born to Elias and Hortensia Gloria on January 21, 1964, in Dilley, TX. She is preceded in death by her father, Elias O Gloria and Survived by her mother, Hortensia R. Gloria, daughter, daughter, Adrienne J. (Allen) Curl, and granddaughters, Cheyenne and Daisy.


Gloria graduated Cotulla high School in 1982. She participated in many sports and excelled in volleyball. 


Gloria worked as a Senior Transportation Officer with GEO Group and her reputation and excellence as a senior driver trainer was noted throughout the industry. She was frequently requested by other units to travel to their location to train their transportation crew. She enriched our facility for 26 years as a colleague, mentor and friend. 


Her human compassion, understanding, and love for animals enriched us all. Her smile was reassuring that all was well.


Gloria’s legacy lives on through the lessons she imparted and the memories she created with those she loved.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Peters Funeral Home from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Rosary to be held at 7:00p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 10:00a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.

Can't believe you are gone. You supported me through high school and throughout the years. You will be greatly missed.

My deepest condolences to you and your family. Gloria was a sweet lady with a big heart. Sensitive but harsh at times. She trained her GEO officers with excellence. She will be missed for sure. The knowledge she takes with her can not be replaced. May God give your family peace and strength.

I knew Gloria through school has a classmate and as a good athlete in sports. She was a real nice person to have known in school. Prayers to the family.
