Gloria J. Goss

I wish to extend my deepest sympathy to the family of Gloria (Newman) Goss. I was a classmate of Gloria's and was looking forward to possibly seeing her at our 50th class re-eunion this September 19th. I will always remember her as a kind and caring individual. She would always have a smile on her face when passing in the school hallways between classes. I know that this is a difficult time for the family. Cherish the many memories that were made through the years....

Gloria was a great part of my life in high school, and we have kept in touch sporadically through the years. Even with many health problems in later years, her smile could light up a room. Sincere condolences to Ron and Lyn and the rest of the people she leave behind - she will be missed, but is now dancing in heaven!

Gloria and I became friends when she started to winter in Florida. She and Ron moved across the street from us and I dearly loved her kind and compassionate way. With limited movement over the past few years, she always made it a point to remember all the special occassions in your life. This was one of her ways of reaching out to all of those people in her life that she cared about. She loved to come out this past winter to play Bingo at the clubhouse. Gloria will be thought about and remembered by me for the rest of my life! We shared a 'locker', I believe, from 7th grade through 12th grade. That last 'combination lock' we used I've still used on occasion through the past 50 years since we graduated. She always shared so much news of herself and family in her correspondences by note or email. Gladly, the Burley's and us, met her and Ron for lunch this past early February in Lakeland, Flordia.
