Gloria was a childhood friend of mine and my twin sister, Mary Jo. We have fond memories to cherish. I remember the thrill of Gloria, cooking a dinner in her High School Home-Ec class and inviting me as one of six to share the meal. I have no memory of the dinner's menu, but I have always remembered the joy of being invited.
My twin deals with dementia now and I can truly send heartfelt sympathy to Gloria's family as well as a bountiful amount of love to all. ...

Ms Gloria Hurt was my high school PE teacher. She was my favorite teacher. Her kindness and graciousness was felt by all. She encouraged us to do our best and we tried, none of us wanted to disappoint her. I absolutely adored her and will never forget her and the lesions she taught.. May she Rest In Peace ....

Gloria Hurt was the Class Sponsor for my graduating Class of 1966 at Pascagoula High School. She was beloved by all of us. Some affectionately called her "MS Tippy Toes" because she often walked on her "tippy Toes". She always had a smile on her face and a kind word for you. She will be greatly missed.
