Gloria Flake Lockerman

So sad to receive Wake Forest magazine and read of Gloria's passing. She and her former husband, Ted, honored me by asking that I participate in their wedding . Our friendship began as their courtship began while he and I were in Wake Forest law school. Both were delightful people and though that was more than a half century ago the memories of those bygone days warm my heart. I miss them and will forever relish our days in the sun together.

Gloria was one of a kind...always willing to help someone during a death or what ever the reason for help. I loved and cherished her as a dear friend. She was a Christian lady and her love for the Lord did shine through her as she lived her life for Him. In my younger years I enjoy time at Core Sound with her. She is a true blue friend and will be sorely missed by everyone that knows her. Rest in peace Gloria! I love you.
