Sam: I think a lot about Gloria and miss her terribly. My life is filled with events that say to me, "tell Gloria," and we will laugh together."
I wish we could. There is no one like her in my life.
All my love,

Helen

Sam, I'm sitting here in shock, I am so sorry for your lose. I always felt so lucky having the opportunity to sing Gloria's songs. She was always so positive with me. So very kind. I still can't believe it. I will always treasure those moments, and keep the fondest of memories in my heart for her. I wish you the very best.

Dear Sam:

I am so sorry for your loss. Gloria was truely your life's partner and a friend to everyone.

Sincerely,

Dear Sam, Jenny and Jim,

I was so saddened to hear of Gloria's passing. Over thirty years ago, when I was beginning my career as a composer, she gave me great encouragement which I will always remember. As a fellow board member of the Songwriters' Guild, I always valued her insight and thoughts. I know that I and all who knew her will greatly miss her.

Fondly,

Earl Rose

Sam, Merrill, everybody: I just (Mar 13) learned of Gloria's passing and am devastated for her , for you, and for me.

she stays with me in happy memories.
My love to you all.

I had taken this photo of Gloria in September, 2005. It has always been a favorite of mine, as I hope it will be of yours.

It is with great sadness and I learned of Gloria's passing. Her gifts and talents were many and she shared them graciously with others. I am thankful for the opportunity to help bring Gloria's work to the stage. Her enlightened lyrics on songs for The Velveteen Rabbit will continue to remind all of us of her youthful, lively and caring spirit and what it means to be "real." She lives on through her wonderful work.
