Gloria Pflueger

Gloria was the penultimate civil servant-efficient, polite, knowledgeable and helpful-a true professional. All that with a delightful sense of humor. Her guidance was paramount in the establishment of the NPSTAB some 20+ years ago.
For that, I will be forever grateful and will miss her and our often shared walks and talks.

Gloria was a treasure of the ST. Joseph community. It was always a pleasure to attend mass and pray the rosary with her. Rest in peace. Jack and Kathy Rooney.

Gloria is someone I have known for years. My Mother Mary A Smith was borough clerk before Gloria. They worked together for several years before my Moms retirement. Since I am a Sister of Mercy at Mount Saint Mary House of Prayer, I had the blessing of an on-going relationship with her. She came to our spiritual programs and volunteered whenever she could. We worked with Gloria at Borough Hall for many years. She was the consummate professional. We respected her knowledge and loved her dry sense of humor. Our sincere condolences to the family

Lagoria and I grew up across the street from each other on Westervelt Ave. we went to St. Joe's grammer school which was just 3 block down Westervelt Ave. Made the daily trip to and from St. Joe's for 8 years together.
Have not seen or been in touch with her for many years but she was person that anyone would want as a friend.

Gloria was a genuinely good person and a terrific Borough Clerk. She was an asset to our community and will be missed.
