Not sure what to say?

Another year gone by and Gloria still is in my memories. I think of her frequently. What a dear friend! I was reading the other day about the meaning of the word death in the Greek. Interesting, one of its definitions was a navigational term. It means to pull up anchor and set sail for a new destination. So I love to think about Gloria in her new destination for it is impossible for me to believe that God would not welcome a soul so filled with love. His daughter for sure!

I knew Gloria from Hillview and did not know of her passing. She was truly dedicated to her students and her family. We had several long discussions about education, teaching and families. I regret that I did not know of her passing. What friend she was! May her memory be a blessing

Buzz and I often remember the nights of laughter and discussion we spent with Allen and Gloria. What fun we had! Every November when I turn the page on my calendar, I think of Gloria. Her birthday frequently coincides with the Thanksgiving holidays which are the start of my favorite season. It´s so fitting that I´m always remembering Gloria especially at this time. I´ve been so blessed to have her as a friend and mentor. She is such a bright light in my life!

Gloria was like a lighthouse beacon! Her true interest in you as an educator and person lead many of us to excel in ways we didn´t realize we could! She was unique and wonderful!!

Sorry to hear of your loss. May God give you the comfort that only He can give. Yours in Christ; Doyle and Cyndi Creel

Dr. Solomon was always cheerful and you could tell she really cared for her students. She helped with making sure my daughter could attend Hillview Elementary. At the time it was very important and she understood.

Such a beautiful, classy lady and mentor. Dr. Solomon helped make school a joyful place for students and teachers.

What a pleasure it was to know and work with Dr. Solomon. Her compassion and leadership for special ed was admirable.
