Gloria was an example of everything a lady should be. She was my Mother's best friend in High School and I was named after her. I was her flower girl in her wedding and have loved her for many years. I will miss her but will carry precious memories in my heart.

It is with great gratitude for her kindness and generosity of spirit that I write in honor of the memory of Gloria. She was a true friend, and long-time neighbor of my mother, Lois Stanley. Though my mother moved to Alabama, they remained in touch, and my mother will miss their friendship and cherish all the fond memories she has of their times together. Our most heartfelt condolences.

Gloria was one of the most gracious and genuinely kind person I've ever had the privilege to meet. She cared about all those in her life. She was a true Detroit Tigers fan who rarely missed a game. She enjoyed the company of the woman's group of Holy Spirit Lutheran Church. She never let anything slow her down, especially her age. She had more energy for daily activities than those half her age. She was a fantastically spirited woman and role model to many. She was my second mom since 1978....
