Not sure what to say?

I heard of Professor Halsey's Homegoing some years back and was shocked by the notification. 2025 and I have located this space to share my deepest condolences to family and friends. Halsey was in a class of few and made my Morris Brown Choir days memorable and my time studying music unforgettable - he was excellence personified! I'll see you again! RIP

4ever in my Heavenly Rest

Mr. Hasley was my Choir/Choral Director during my educational years (1977-1988) from Middle School(Renfroe Middle School, Decatur, GA), High School (Decatur High School, Decatur, GA) & College (Morris Brown College, Atlanta, GA). He was very instrumental in my music career. He was truly unique.

I'm late but I'd be remiss if I did not honor this great man. To say that I've carried him with me these twenty-some years would be an understatement. Mr. Halsey was a great teacher. I was honored to sing with him during his transition at Clark Atlanta University. What an experience. Rest in power, Sir.

You will definitely be missed! You served as my choir director at CAU for approximately 3 years, and taught me great elements of music. May you rest in peace.

Mr. Halsey was the best choral director that I have ever played for. He TRANSFORMED the DHS chorus when he came to the school. An amazing musician and inspiring man.
