Godfrey Isaac

Worked with Godfrey as an accounting expert witness in the 1980s. In Orange County BK Court — Pyrotromics vs Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. Great colleague and gentleman. My fond recollection: Phone calls from Godfrey that gloriously, and loudly began: “HELLO, JIM, THIS IS . . GODFREY . . ISSAC”.

I am so sorry to hear of your father's passing. I spoke with him for quite a while about 2 years ago after Allen had passed away. He had a lot to say and some very good insight. He was a very remarkable man.

Godfrey, I'm afraid you acknowledged me more than I reciprocated. But that's the kind of exuberant spirit you were. I miss it.

To David:We meet at SAMOHI and became fast friends. Your father took you and i to rent tux's for the 1972 prom. You asked my twin sister Debbie to go with you to the prom and we doubled dated. The best ever!

Godfrey represented me about 12 years ago, and we became friends. My wife and I adore Godfrey and Kathleen, and we enjoyed our dinners together. We will miss him greatly.

Here's to Godfrey, smart, spirited, talented, great storyteller, generous, a prince of a man. So happy we shared time with him & his lovely Kathleen as part of his VA family with Dave & Jackie Isaac.
