Not sure what to say?

Dear Erwin Family, I am saddened to learn of the passing of my childhood physician, Dr. Goodloe Erwin. Dr. Erwin always had a warm professional bedside manner when treating us in the Chaffin family. He could disarm the patient and promote a return to health. I felt Goodloe personified a balanced life - engaging with the community to enhance the greater good, pursuing athletic prowess in a variety of venues, taking care of family, and finding resources to nurture places and people of enduring...

I knew him as Katie's Dad ..and I loved him as Katie's Dad....
But I simply loved this family who have provided me some of my most beautiful and indelible
Memories of childhood ever!
THANKYOU Erwin family .......
Sorry for your loss but so happy for having known him and you all........ THANKYOU
Love kim

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

Dr. Erwin was my doctor for many years. He was a brilliant doctor, friend, community leader, Christian and a grand person. All who knew him will miss him.

Leslie, Katie, and Erwin family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Both your mom and dad always were so gracious and welcomed me into your home and cabin at Tate with kindness. I will always remember those wonderful times spent in our middle school, high school, college, and beyond years. Take comfort in knowing that your dad had a full and wonderful life while here on this earth which pales in comparison to the even more wonderful life he will have in eternity, and that...

On behalf of the Montgomery family, please accept our deepest condolences for your loss. My father Thomas Montgomery always considered Dr. Erwin a respected physician mentor but more importantly, a friend. Dr. Erwin's legacy in Athens is significant; may his many accomplishments and contributions give you immense pride and offer your family comfort during your time of grief.

Dear Erwin family-Athens has lost another true pillar. He was my mother's doctor-she was LaGrange "Baba" DuPree. He was always gentle, and caring-even though he would get after her when she needed that. Athens and the world are diminished by his passing.

Dr. Erwin and my Dad, I. R. Berger were roommates and now they both passed on the same date at the same age.
Our family's condolences to yours at this time of loss.

Michael and Jane Berger

Offering our deepest condolences during this difficult time.
