I worked with Dr Kamath at the Rome Mental Health Clinic for several years. He was a gentle, caring man who treated his patients with dignity and respect. He was always willing to listen and was admired by staff. I never knew him personally outside of work and enjoyed reading about all of his accomplishments. He led a wonderful life it appears. My sympathies go out to his family.

Dr Kamath was a strong unifying figure for the Indian community in the Mohawk valley, and his prayer meeting and songs, every one would be longing to hear every month. Dr Kamath and Parimala were an inseparable couple whose music together will always be in our mind. Besides that he was always a kind and gentle physician and would give sound advice to any one in need. We will miss him considerably and and may his soul Rest In Peace .
