Gordon Kenneth Bartol

I just learned about Kenny´s passing. So sorry to have missed the celebration of his life. We met at Lynnwood Lanes bowling. For a time I was a substitute for him and other members of his team. Then I joined a team of my own. When my precious schnauzer died he knew how sad I was and with his team brought me a teddy bear as their way of comforting me. He was indeed a very thoughtful, kind man.

All three of my children enjoyed the professionalism and friendship of Ken when he was Vice Principal at Alderwood Middle School. They are parents in their own right and remember him fondly. He was a stalwart while at Edmonds School District. May his family find peace in the knowledge that Ken, according to both of my sons, was " a really great guy".
