Not sure what to say?

As we were immediate next door neighbors, I think of you often and miss you.

I cherish the longtime friendship with Gordon as his next door apartment neighbor. What a fascinating life's history he had--a working and close relationship as the pianist and conductor for the George Ballanchine Company with the New York City Ballet. I miss his wit and eccentric but alway affectionate point of view on the vagaries of the artistic life. Keep those Heavenly Choirs on the beat, dear Gordon!

Gordon was my good and generous next door neighbor for 30 years. With his sharp wit and intelligence, Gordon was always a delight to spend time with in conversation. And what wonderful stories of his experience with the greats of the ballet and music world, he shared! May he conduct his favorite PARSIFAL somewhere out there in the great cosmos. With my affection and respect for this extraordinary gentleman,

You always provided, in so many ways, part of the great floor of music that New York City Ballet dances upon.
