Not sure what to say?

Always in our thoughts, forever in our hearts. This is never more true than during the holidays!

Bubba, I've traveled the world this year, I turned 60 and I've celebrated almost 35 years at my job!

The kids are all doing so well and have come through the fire, literally, for Jerry, Amy and their beautiful family. We have a new baby Brigance, little Lorelei, and she is simply a beautiful addition to the family and Linda's namesake. We know you would adore her and be so...

Papa,

Beleive it or not, I'm engaged! Eric asked me to marry him and I accepted. I wish so much that you were here to meet him. You would love him and I'm sure that he would look up to you as we all do.

Papa,

I came on this site to sign the guest book of a friend of mine's husband that was killed a few days ago. It was a great loss for the world that this young man was taken. As I was thinking about all the great losses I've seen in my few 25 years, you were on top. You were the foundation of the Brigance family and even though we are all still a tight knit family, it's just not the same without you. As I have grown from a child to a teenager and now to a women I have come to...

Dear Bubba,

It’s Easter and time to celebrate new beginnings and hold cherished memories close to our hearts on this blessed day. The legacy of the Brigance family continues with the beautiful wedding of Sabrina and Nate on March 8, 2008.

Sabrina and Nate selected a beautiful poem and ask me to read it at their ceremony. It’s a special verse that commemorates their love for each other. It also became a gift to each of us gently reminding us of our never-ending love for you!...

Tuesday night as I sat in my hotel, I wondered what I would be doing the next day which was your birthday. My jobs for wednesday had been cancealed so Diane and I thought we would take in the sites. As we walked down Hollywood Blvd. (yes we are in California) I thought how much you would have enjoyed all the sites and sounds of L.A. with us. Next we went to Rodeo Dr. Couldn't buy anything but at least we were acting like we were rich. It was then that I realized that I am a very rich man. I...

Daddy,
Today, I celebrate you. Today, I celebrate the happiness that you gave all of us and the love that we each feel towards you. As time goes by one would think the memory dimishes but that is certainly not true with the Brigance's. I can honestly say, that with each passing day our love for you continues to be endless. You are always in are thoughts and prayers and in the eyes of each of our children. What a wonderful job you did!! I love you!!

Happy Birthday Bubba!! I want you to know my heart is with you everyday and February 13 is extra special as we celebrate you!

As Sabrina said, she and Nate are counting the days until they become one. I echo all the wonderful praise and the love she expressed in her message. Thank you, Bubba, for your gift of unconditional love.

Sabrina and Nate have chosen a beautiful poem and ask me to read it at their wedding ceremony. It's beautiful and conveys many loving thoughts that...

Dear Howard,
We are only a month away till the day I marry your youngest son and become a Brigance. Words can not begin to describe how privileged I feel to be able to bear your name. I am not sure who I feel in love with first Nate or The Brigance Family. You really created a beautiful, loving, and giving family Howard, that is a direct reflection of the father they all admire so much. I wish you could be there with us on our wedding day but I know that you will be standing by...

This poem embodies everything you tried to instill in us; it also voices our feelings concerning our immense gratitude for everything you sacrificed so that we could have the best in life. In addition to the children, there are countless others who ended up as better people, and more successful in life because of the selfless deeds you performed for anyone who was in need of help.
