Not sure what to say?

Gordon was a fine gentleman in every sense of the word. It was my privilege to have worked with him at First National.

Have very fond memories of Gordon and Mary! Hope you all are doing well!

Gordon's Gang

Gordon has been gone five years. Seems like just yesterday. As Mary and Gordon's neighbor, we still refer to it as Gordon's Home, or Mary's Home, or Carpenter's Home. Rita and I truly miss his words of wit and wisdom.

It was a pleasure to work with Gordon as a fellow trust officer at First National Bank in Dallas in the 1970s (and a fellow Presbyterian). He was the very definition of the Texas gentleman, loved and respected by all of his colleagues and clients. Loved his and Mary's Kentucky Derby parties, especially the mint juleps with home-grown mint! Rest in peace, old friend.

Gordon was a very great and very professional trust officer at First National Bank in Dallas. I enjoyed working with him and that great group of dedicated and proficient bankers.

My favorite Gordon-ism:
"I wish to prodigiously and ostentatiously bombast you with verbal expostulations."

It was a pleasure working with you and Mary for 19 years. You left us beautiful memories that we will treasure in our hearts forever. We will miss you dearly and will always remember you and Mary.

Gordon and Family

Rita and I will miss our conversations, jokes, and current event opinion sessions. Take care, and give Mary a hug from both of us.
