Not sure what to say?

Gordon was a most warm and wonderful man. And will be missed by many. He was the college counselor at Ruth Asawa School of the Arts when my sons attended. The PTSA hired Gordon to work part time at the school, but he worked many more hours than he was paid for and contributed greatly to the success of students after they graduated SOTA. SOTA graduates were admitted to the very best colleges in the country because of him. In their junior year, he took students on a tour of the East Coast...

Though nearly two years after Gordon's passing, I was reminded of his inspirational support and guidance at McAteer as I witnessed the horrific breach of the Capitol. I graduated in 1977, but participated in two consecutive years of Close-Up with Gordon as the advisor/chaperone. These visits to Washington inspired me to pursue a government career and now approaching my own retirement. God Bless you Gordon...and thanks for the memories.

My sincere condolences to Mr Chalmers family. I had the pleasure and opportunity to be one of Mr.Chalmers students at McAteer, I was a class of 85 graduate and he was one of the best teachers I had. Rest in Peace Mr.Chalmers. May memories of him live on and my prayer is that his family will be comforted with peace and Love during their time of grief.

Gordon was a great person and very active in the Highlands Community (San Mateo). He was a retired educator from the San Unified School District and worked as a college/university counselor after retirement. May he rest in peace.
