Gordon Collins

COLLINS, Gordon F. Died March 21, 2022. He was a life-long resident of Flint, Michigan.

Gordon graduated from Flint Central High School and served his country in the U.S. Army.

He worked at Buick for thirty years and retired in 1994.

Gordon was a founding member of Hope United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir for many years.

He was also a member of the Flint Male Chorus and the Masuba Bonsai Club of Genesee County. In addition, Gordon was an avid reader, golfer, and gardener.

Most recently, he grew beautiful orchids.

Gordon and his wife, Rosemary, were married sixty years and had three daughters.

He was a loving family man who will be missed by all who called him family.

There will be a private family interment service at Great Lakes National Cemetery. The family wishes to thank McLaren Hospice and Springvale Assisted Living and Memory Care for their excellent care.
