Gordon Cooper Cross

I was a Wien Pilot flying with Gordy many times in the '70s; his kind, compassionate demeanor and wonderful sense of humor made the job of co-pilot all that much more enjoyable.

Our deepest sympathy to the family of Gordon. My mother K. Pedersen Doyle was a flight attendant with Gordon for many years. I worked at Wien Airlines when I was at UAF. He will certainly be missed. Wien Alaska Airline people had a very special bond. Gordon certainly contributed to aviation history in Alaska.
