Just learned belatedly in the extreme of Gordon´s passing. During the early 1980´s, I was a new attorney working in the same DOJ office with Gordon. He was a tremendous mentor to me as well as a supremely gracious, patient, cultured and brilliant individual. He embodied so much of what makes and continues to make our nation a city on a hill.
