Capt, Darnell was a friend and a great person, kind and he loved his family.
He taught me about flying and The Boy Scouts. I asked him to take my son to an Eagle Dinner in Dallas he said he would do it. and he did.
RubyAnn he loved you very much and he always corrected me when I called yo u "Rube".

I only flew a few trips with Capt. Darnell at the airlines, however visited with he and Rubyann through the Proud Birdman association. Enjoyed intresting stories of the early days of the Airline. He was a gentleman and pleasure to visit and discuss his interest at the hobby shop. Bless Rubyann and his family and RIP my friend.
