Anne, Joe and I are so sorry to hear about Chips! Our hearts are very heavy for you and your family! We are so sorry to just be hearing of Chips passing away! Lots of love and prayers being lifted. Barbara and Joe Sullivan, Mobile AL

I am so sorry to hear about his passing. I knew Chips in the JAGC in 1969-73. He and Anne were present at the birth of my firstborn child, Wendy, and I was at the birth of their son Gordon. I was thinking about Chips because of the Alabama Auburn game this weekend. I know he will be watching and be calling "Roll Tide". My love to Anne and the family.

Anne and all of your family,
My heart is broken for your loss... Having the opportunity to work with Gordon for many years, and spend time with all your family during some very special times, I saw a wonderful man, completely devoted to his family. He could always brighten any situation. I will always cherish the time we had.
His kindness always shined through. I will always remember his laugh and his smile.
May God give you comfort and peace in this very difficult...

Gordon was my first "boss" and a great friend. I credit him with my long career in the legal field. He was truly one of a kind and will be missed. I am hurting with and praying for his family, especially my friend Anne!

Allison,
Sorry to hear that your dad passed away after a struggle with cancer. I enjoyed reading his obituary. He was obviously a wonderful person.

Anne, all of us in Cleburne County loved Gordon so much. We couldn't wait for his latest story's to tell or your adventures you had been on. My favorite was the donkey ride at the Grand Canyon. I especially loved it when he would bring me a chocolate pecan pie from Priesters. He will be greatly missed.

We have many wonderful memories with Gordon. All of which leave us laughing. Our prayers are with the Bailey family.

Anne, it was with great sadness that I learned of Gordon's passing. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

So sorry to hear this sad news. Comfort and strength to you all.
