Not sure what to say?

I remember Pastor Gordon from Johnson Bible College, where I was a student from 1978 to 1979. He touched many, many lives, including mine, for our Lord. May his dear family and friends find comfort in loving togetherness, and may the blessed hope we share in Jesus be ever with you all. James (Jim) Kramer, Pittsburgh, PA

I met Gordon at jbc so full of love and laughter down to earth wearing bib overalls who couldn´t love this man of God. In my prayers dear family

Singing with Gordon in Ephesians 4 (at JBC) is one of my cherished memories. Debbie and I are very saddened to hear of his loss ... but happy to know the tenor section is doing quite well in heaven. - Carlis White

Very fond memories of Gordon leading worship at JBC. No one did it with greater enthusiasm. The big guy had more movement in his arms leading worship than the most skilled person on the launch ramp of an aircraft carrier. Sing on high brother!

My condolences to the Gathrights and their families. I am saddened to hear about Gordy. I lived a couple of doors down from them back in the early to mid 60s. I remeber them as the kindest and compassionate people I have met. I have fond memories of times chatting with Mr and Mrs Gathright, Gordy, Greg, and Gerald. The entire family is very special and am fortunate to have crossed paths with them. I was also fortunate to have dinner with Gordy and meet his wife Linda as they passed...

From the reading , supporting that he remained n grew more into a mature human being comes as no surprise at all. The man could sing . Long ago was last time this singing voice was heard. That he stayed `in voice" and continued to bring it to others throughout these many years brings a smile to this old face much as was placed upon...

Gerald and Hilda you have my sympathies during this time of great loss -sg
