Dear Family,
As a young builder Gord did the masonry on many of the homes I built and always was a real pleasure to work with and I felt honored to have someone like Gord supply his craft for me.
I sit by the fireplace he built for me every night and still marvel as to his workmanship.
I feel blessed to have know such a gentleman.

Gernaat family, I'm so sorry for your loss. Gord started me in masonry 29 years agoand because of him I made it my career!! I've often thought of him over the years and will never forget his warmth ,kindness , and willingness to help and teach othersand for this I'm eternally grateful.
