Gordon H. Gile, Jr.

It is with great sadness that I learned today from my daughter that Gordon had died last summer. I wanted to express my deep sympathy for all members of his family. Don was a committed and devoted Father, and was a person of good will. He had a big heart and a loving spirit. I had not been in touch with Don since his family lived in Summit, NJ, but wish to let his family know that my daughter and I thought he was very special indeed. He left this world much too soon.

Although the years have slipped by and we had lost touch, we remember Don as a sweet and gentle soul. He loved his family so very much. Love to all his family.

A great smile, a great laugh, a great joy, a great friend. It too has been a while since our paths have crossed, but the memories shine bright. Godspeed.

Seeing the notice about Don this morning brought both a terrible sadness and a smile. As roommates for a few years, I cherish some great memories of fun times and Don's positive personality. It's been a few years since our paths have crossed, but I feel like there is now something missing that shouldn't be missing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this sad time.
