Not sure what to say?

You were the greatest bus driver!!!!

I met Gordon about two years ago through a mutual friend, Peter Dress. Our small coffee group met weekly at Black Forest Bakery in Athens. Gordon's death is a great loss for our group, and for me personally, because we had many topics and ideas left to discuss. He was so authentic, so genuine and so thoughtful. I will never forget him and the free spirit he embodied. How fortunate it was to have had the opportunity to know him. Ron Simpson

I didn't know Gordon very long but I feel that I will remember him always. All the best to the family. It was a wonderful service today and I was happy to be there. Now, I have to figure out where he was getting the deal on all the bread for the geese, ducks and fish! (Vagabond)

Gordon was one of two people who interviewed me for the best job I ever had. Bluebirds still visit the window of his former office at Campus Transit. I am certain he is surrounded by bluebirds now. With much sympathy to the Gridley Family.

We had some great times birding over the years together. He always let us know when the loons were at Lake Hartwell.

I enjoyed Gordon's friendship and expertise during numerous Audubon Chapter birdwalks, some years ago, when he was living in Athens. Last summer, Gordon took myself and several other "birder" friends on a wonderful sailboat ride at Lake Hartwell. He seemed very happy then. I will miss him.

Gordon and I knew each other for 5 years. We could and did talk about anything and everything.usually over a couple of Adult Beverages,,solving all the Worlds Problems..He was and is one of my Best Friends,We all well miss Him,Duker!!!

We were very saddened to hear about Mr. Gridley. He was one of our favorite patients and we will miss him. Regards from Melissa, Sonya, Bridgette, Lynn, Cherie, Robin, Dr. Crosby and Mrs. Crosby

A sad time for many. It has been my privilege to have known Gordon the last two years. Good friend, good person, and good sailor. Loved by many and will be missed very much!
