Falene, I was sad to learn that Gordon had died. I remember hiking with you with the Wednesday hikers and also coming to your house on McCormick. I often think of you and Gordon when we visit the YMCA of the Rockies. We were recently there and I was trying to figure out the cabins we stayed in. I worked as a Staff Member in PSU Chemistry Department, for many years during Dr. Hamilton's tenure. I met him for the first time in 1991 and worked there before leaving for another position within Penn State in 2014. He always treated me with great respect. He was a lovely human being, who spoke so lovingly of his family. Very quiet and serious and intelligent, yet very kind. His family are in my thoughts and prayers during this time of grieving. May he Rest In Peace.
