Damn.

As a newbie at Omaha South High some time during the Dark Ages, Gordy made me feel welcome and part of "the crowd." I can't believe this warm-heated, welcoming soul is gone. Everybody was a member of Gordy's "clique" . . . not that he intentionally formed one. He just drew people to him.

I'm so disappointed. Really. No, really. Going through the South High year book, Gordy was one of the few people I tried to picture as a senior citizen. At the last reunion, we...

he wasn't a very good golfer but was a wonerfull,funny guy.

Larger than life! He made an impact on all of us. I have a lot of great memories of both Maureen and Gordy as we all worked our way through law school. Seems like just yesterday. My sympathy and condolences.
