Gordon Keith Howard

To the Howard family,

I am so very sad to learn of the passing of Gordon. I'm Stan Jamieson's niece - his neighbour for the last year or so. I loved his quiet smile and when he first arrived at the Perley he loved to read the newspaper first thing in the morning and both he and my Uncle took their time with breakfast. You are so right that his caregivers were extra special - especially the two I would see regularly in the morning.

You could really tell that he loved his family...

I just spoke with Mom (Audrey Cross). Sorry to hear of Uncle Gordon's death though I knew that he had been faltering. You have such a loving family and it sounds like awesome caregivers. Your dad's wit and sense of humour will always be with me. He taught me patience and a better understanding of Parkinson's. He will be missed!

We will always remember the good times we had with him, while we were members of the Windsor Hobos & the Riverside bowling league. His dry humor was something else.
