Gordon was my friend and fellow Partner in the national consulting engineering firm of R. W. Beck and Associates for many years. My wife, Eileen, and I always enjoyed his company and good humor at annual partnership meetings and other occasions. He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by us and all who knew him and shared their lives with him. I am sure he was greated by our Lord with open arms and told " Well done, good and faithful servant---enter the gates of Heaven for life eternal".

It was a lot of fun to have Gordon as part of our family when we were growing up. I'm sure he and Jack found it a challenge living with four little nieces. We are all very proud of his lifelong accomplishments. He and Jack both have inspired all of us. The memories of our life together will never be forgotten. We all love and miss you.

To me, he was the hero of my life, and even in death he will always remain that way. He was my big brother who was always there whenever I needed help or guidance. Without him, I wouldn't have the wonderful family that I have today. Without him, I wouldn't have gone to college, to graduate with an engineering degree. The list goes on, and deep appreciation of him grows with each recalled memory that I have of him.

One of the pleasures of serving on the Youth Tennis SD board was seeing Gordon and Ruth at some of our special events. Gordon's legacy of supporting the kids will be something I will always admire and remember. My deepest condolences to Ruth and the family.

Uncle Gordon,
I will miss you, my Great-Uncle. Thank you for always remembering me when I was a kid in sending me things from your world travels. Now I have wonderful momentos to remember you by. Now you are with Grandma, Harry and your parents. Rest in Peace. We love you.
