I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He always had smile on his face, and loved being around children, as I can attest to, having been in his home several times for Camp Fire Girls. He always made time to talk to us. He will be missed in the community, but we can all carry very fond memories in our thoughts and hearts.

It has been an honor to know Gordie all these years. He was my very first boss and a great one at that. He has always treated my entire family as if we were his own. Just ask my mom! He wrote the book on kindness and generosity. It has been a pleasure to know him all these years. The community has lost a great man, but the memories will remain forever. He will be truly missed.
