Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs. Lamkin,Margaret,Gordon and Beth,
I am so sorry to hear of Pop's passing. I remember him so well, I just loved being at your house. Even after all this time it seems like yesterday Beth and I were hanging together. I pray that God will be with you at this time. You are in my prayers. Love ya, Ruthie

Dear Mrs. Lamkin, Margaret, Beth and Gordon,
I was saddened to read of Mr. Lamkin's passing. I remember, as if it were yesterday, seeing and talking with him around the ball field. Even after almost 40 years, I remember his kindness and his love for the game and it's players. I pray your love and faith will help you through these tough times.

Harmie,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I am one of Billy Hilling's brothers, and also grew up in the Shipyard apartments and went to Stonewall Jackson School. I can still hear Mr. Lamkin calling Pop and Bill at the Shipyard apartments to come home for dinner.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Harmie and the entire Lamkin family. Pop and I worked together for years on the board for Youth for Christ. I admired and respected him as he was such a wonderful Christian gentleman.

Our sympathy and prayers go out to this family. May God comfort them during this time.
