Gordon "Pat" Patrick Marques Gordon "Pat" Patrick Marques, age 74, died Oct. 2, 2010. He was born in Freeport, Maine on Nov. 23, 1935. He achieved a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Alabama in Electronics. He was a Korean War Veteran and a life time member of the American Legion Post 364, Woodbridge, Va. He enjoyed bowling.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Wenona F. Marques (age 74) and four children, Dennis Marques of Dale City, Va.; Diane Blake and husband, Joe, of Woodford, Va. and their children, Wenona May Blake and Joseph Blake and wife, Megan and their child, Joseph Kenneth Blake; Deborah J. Dunnigan of Shanghai, W.Va. widow of Kevin Dunnigan and their two children Kevin D. Dunnigan and wife, Angie and their child, Ava Dunnigan and Cassandra Miller and husband, Jeremiah of Carmichaels, Pa. and their children Aiden, Kailie and Tristan and Lisa Marques and her son, Patrick Marques of Dale City, Va. Gordon Patrick Marques had two sisters, JoAnne Ferreira (deceased) of Massachusetts and Margarite Roy of Ottowa, Canada.

Gordon Patrick Marques donated his body to Georgetown University. Memorial Service to be held on Friday, Oct. 8, 2010 at Cokesbury United Methodist Church, 14806 Blackburn Road, Woodbridge, VA 22191, officiated by Rev. Russell Urban. Reception to follow at the church. Flowers may be sent to the home of the widow, Wenona Marques and then will be taken to the funeral service by the family.
